I know because I’ve been there...
After having my first child, I quickly realised that all the books I had read hadn’t prepared me for the reality of parenthood. My baby was unsettled and constantly crying, and before long, I was in tears too, exhausted, overwhelmed, and with little support from my GP.
With the encouragement of my mum, I dove into learning everything I could about supporting my baby’s sleep and development, and in the process, I found a way to restore not only my child’s rest but also my own wellbeing.
That experience changed everything. By looking at sleep as part of a bigger picture, considering environment, nutrition, and routines, I transformed both my baby’s nights and my own.
Re-energised, I trained as an Expert Sleep Consultant, founded Babogue in 2017, and have since supported over 5,000 families in 37 countries with proven holistic sleep and parenting solutions. Now, I’ve created Thrive to help you do the same - because without the right tools and strategies, exhaustion takes over, but with them, restful nights and brighter days are possible.
What I learnt changed my life…
I was approaching sleep all wrong. Because I wasn’t looking at it as part of the bigger picture and doing this changed everything.
I looked at what I was doing, my baby's sleep environment, nutrition, routines…all of it!
Just like that, I had my spark back and lifeless Erica had disappeared. In her place was a woman on a mission (it’s amazing what getting a good night's sleep can do for a person).
I qualified as an Expert Sleep Consultant at the Family Sleep Intiution, founded Babogue in 2017 and I’ve since helped over 5000 families in 37 countries to experience restful nights and revitalised days through holistic sleep and parenting solutions that work.
And now I’ve created Thrive to help you experience the same.
